Kept it short and simple.
When he asked what company I told him I’d rather not say. “Well is it with a competitor?” I replied no I just had to make the move due to the work life balance it provides. It’s nothing personal. He really said “well I’m sure it’s more money but you’re not gonna find a better work life balance than 6am-3pm”
I almost burst out laughing since my new position is almost completely remote and I’m getting paid $25k more
Know your worth everyone! I decided I had enough when I learned the new hires were getting paid $3/hr more and with no college experience. Hope this helps someone
