Working until 1am in high-school.

I worked at the movie theater in high-school. It was a great job for someone that age, free movies and popcorn (great for dates) and $11 an hour back in 04. Everything was great until i turned 18. You see at 18 they could make me stay until 1am to close and as we had a lot of young people i was one of the few old enough to do this. So they kept scheduling me 4 days a week closing at 1am only to have to get up for school at 6am. This was not a good situation and i told my head manager i would do 2 max, any more on the schedule and ill walk. She laughed and waved me off. Fast forward a week and its Friday night (busy night at the theater). We have a new trainee on and we are down a man from…

Fast forward a week and its Friday night (busy night at the theater). We have a new trainee on and we are down a man from someone calling off. the lul between showings hit and i get a copy of the new schedule on my way to take my 15 min break. Im on for 5 days (ones a weekend but still), so i went to taco bell got my food then went over to my friends house to chill and play some games.

Got a call a little while later from a pissed off head manager. The head managers girlfriend (also a manager big no-no) had to stay and cover for me and the other missing person because it was a super busy night (even for a Friday) and all the other shit that went along with that place.
