f*** polos

I was hired at a panera bread and only worked there for two days before I quit. In their dress code you are required to wear a polo shirt, but can only be from a select few colors and certain style khaki pants or similar. I have never worn a god damn polo in my entire life. To me they are the symbol of white privilege, snooty suburban golfer dudes whose parents paid for everything type of clothing. Anyways I felt super cringe having to spend money I didn't have on something I would never ever actually wear myself. Sorry, to go on, but to end the story I quit after the second day mostly because of the fact they made me work the drive thru, but also because I secured another job that was way better. Thankfully I kept the receipt, tags and hangers the polos came on, even their stupid little plastic loops with the size. Didn't even wash them, and the customers service rep never noticed the stain on the one and gave me the full refund! I will never ever have to wear a polo shirt again.
