I’m living in France and actually with no job, while I looked at the work lists on Pole Emploi (an institution that helps you find a job and give you money while you’re searching) I saw things that I never saw a few years ago.
Let me list some things :
– The usuals : we’re a family, we look for passionate people not money grabber etc… the ones you basically see on this sub or you might know irl.
But then there is something in France that we make fun of, it’s franglish. Basically it’s the way of speaking both french and English at the same time or using some English words in your french sentence. The satire we usually do became true.
- Slashing, numeric nomad, digital office or even FLEX OFFICE, and many terms that finish with -ing at the end.
I see franglish everywhere on the lists. And usually the ones who does it are french companies with an American CEO. I swear I’ll eat one of them if it keeps up like that.
Also they try sometimes to push the way of work in their home countries. In France you work usually 35 hours a week then it’s overtime (paid). They try to push their workers to work more hours witho being paid. Friend of mine worked as a accountant in one lf these companies. Boy worked 60 hours one week before leaving.
These Americans entrepreneurs doesn’t know what is gong to happen to them to them if they keep like this here in France. We have enough works to do with our own liberals (right winged in our country) already.
Have a nice day and don’t forget to practice with your guillotine on some pumpkins.
