Yesterday at work I got berated and made an example out of in front of my coworkers over a pair of socks. I was doing the job just fine with no problems but apparently being uncomfortable is more important than being good at the work. My boss took $5 from my check to give me one pair of hanes socks in front of the whole kitchen. He then told me to put them on or leave. I was wearing black socks but they were ankle socks cause I’m in Texas and it’s hot and we rotate outside work. I don’t wanna go back there or talk to anyone there but I have no other income. Since day one I’ve gotten treated wrongly. What would you do?
