My heart truly goes out to any of you who have children

When I’m having a rough day and getting ahead in life feels insurmountable, I remind myself to be grateful that I’m my only dependent. After a shitty day at work I can find some solace in my solitude, and essentially spend the little free time I have however I please. I’d absolutely lose my mind if my life consisted of work and tending to a potentially bratty kid who demands the newest iPhone to fit in with his 3rd grade class. To all of you who also despise work AND have the obligation of children, you’re tough as nails and a fucking savage.
