The board is forcing us to come back into the office in the coming weeks.

I've worked from home for the last two years and it has been a blessing. Since working from home I've saved a lot of money on unnecessary things, paid down my debt a little, and had a child. If I go back into the office I'll have to pay child care and I honestly can't afford that hit. All of my other bills have skyrocketed because of inflation and I'll go even further into debt if I have to get child care. It was something I wanted to save up for when my child hit a certain age and I'm not emotionally ready to not see the kid half of my day. They gave us a week to give any reason why we can't go back to the usual schedule and I've been trying to look for things to say to get approved for staying at home for just a bit more but I'm not sure what I should say. Any suggestions or help on how I should proceed would be great. This news has honestly ruined my day.
