I work as a line cook at a Wendy’s in Philadelphia, PA. Last night while at work i was talking to my coworker, let’s call him Ted, about how our fed chairman has to rasie rates and try to cut inflation. We cannot just keep printing money. Now Ted is going to college while working part time and has taken some economic classes so I was asking him how stocks work, and what ways I could make money off turmoil and downturn. My boss, let’s call him Carl, overheard this entire conversation and when we got upon the topic of short selling he walks over to us and asks me if I’m a “fuckin gay bear”. I don’t even know what this means. Does he think I’m gay? I never had a gf but that doesn’t mean I’m not straight. What should I do?
