How this movement is perpetually destroyed

The allure of antiwork for me is in the dream of somehow gaining some leverage to use against capitalism. The problem is a worker's strike would have to be so persistent and global to have any effect at all. The meaning of life under a relentless industrial/post-industrial/tech machine can only be nihilistic if we honestly look at the situation. But people don't do that. We buy into stories, and the hope of those stories being true becomes the fuel that justifies further industriousness. If they know about you, they will give you some of what you seek, but to destroy your agency. They will shut you out of the economy and isolate you so that you can never build a movement.
