I have several chronic conditions that I need to see doctors for, and my husband was going to get tested for a rare genetic condition next month (it is known as “congenital OCD” colloquially). We thought it was going to be $300/mo, and then we find it will in fact be over $600/mo. We can barely afford $300, but at $600 we will simply have to go without.
Fuck that company and fuck America for not providing for its people. We should not have to go through this, and neither should anyone else.
We also can’t get ACA insurance, so that’s not a solution. The only solution we have is to get better jobs.
