First time posting—if I do anything incorrectly please let me know and I’ll revise.
I was laid off with a group of other employees from my remote job today. There is a severance agreement, and their phrasing in the meeting along with previous lies from management has me concerned that there may be a catch if I accept this.
Are there any clauses/common gotchas I should be looking out for in the contract?
I DO live in a state where unused PTO is meant to be paid out. I’m concerned about losing that, as I have accrued quite a bit.
Thank y’all in advance! ️
