Do companies usually provide bank accounts to their employees ? and is it private or public to the company ?

The company that I currently work for made me a bank account, I might be a bit paranoid so better ask now than being sorry later I guess xD so should I be using this account for personal purchases and transactions ? Can the company monitor my transactions ?
