“They dont want to work”

I’m going though the Heartland of America right now. I’m from the Bay Area so pretty different. One place I went to had 1 server/bartender and 1 busser/cook. These people were doing two jobs. Service is super slow and sucks, I don’t care about that. Someone says oh we’re so sorry. I say, no issues with you guys, bad management. “NO! The management is great. People dont want to work and part of that is based on who you voted for…” It’s crazy hearing the perspective that people should want to work and love their jobs even if it does not pay as well as their competition and shit management. Now to be fair, I have worked a job that paid less other pretty much any other spot but it was training and I was incredibly green.
