Small business owners are strange creatures. Imagine being so obsessed about “culture” that you run off your best employee. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall during this discussion, but I bet none of it addressed her concerns or why she had a “poor attitude”.
Who wants to bet that “culture” doesn't include appreciation, fair compensation, reasonable time off, or anything else that benefits the employee? The fact that she turned in her notice on Monday strongly suggests she is tired of the BS.
