Even high schoolers at this point are calling bullshit on places offering less than $11-12/hr (I live in NC), because at this point there is always someone offering way more.
The local Bojangles temporarily shut down because of lack of labor, and when they opened up again, we’re hiring at $18/hr to fill demand lmao. Surprise surprise, they have plenty of laborers now and do well!
No one is doing this cheap labor shit anymore and unless corporate offices realize that, they’re going to destroy their own businesses.
