Have been at my company since 2018 out of college. We went fully remote for covid, and have been back to partial in office.
Recently switched divisions, so need training.
My new team said it’s so much better to train in person than virtually, so we planned certain days we’d both be in for training.
We are in week 3 of partial in office, and he has bailed in going into the office 6 times since and just worked from home.
He’s told me before to go in so our team doesn’t look bad for having no one there.
This morning he texts me the minute work starts he won’t be making it today.
I’m about to just drive home and work there where I am more comfortable and productive.
Absolutely ridiculous how they treat employees.
