I essentially had a manager yell at me, while I was trying to de-escalate the situation by saying “Can we just talk about it” and “Can you please tell me what I did wrong”. This manager then continued to yell and when I asked why they were being so aggressive. They said that I was calling them an “angry black woman” (which I never said, and we are the same skin color so that was confusing). I asked, “are you calling me racist?”. With no response, the manager continued to yell asking that I go home and saying I was being insubordinate, by requesting what I did before I went home. I try to talk to another manager (calling them manager 2), and Manager 2 immediately takes Manager 1's side and sends me home. I concede and go home. I request to file harassment shortly after and they tell me that there is no form for filing harassment and instead I must speak to upper management and they determine whether or not to move forward with an investigation.
Fast forward to today, I go in to talk to the upper management about the situation. The issue is they've already made up their minds. They've written a note of corrective action before receiving my side of the story. I read the rundown of events according to the corrective action, all of which were incorrect and blatantly false. Some sections of it were not even sensical. For example, In the note it says that Manager 1 asked me why I was calling her aggressive, to which I replied are you calling me racist. This makes no sense. Also on the corrective action, it stated that this was my final written notice before termination, though I've not had any past events with notices. I also was never told how to file harassment at all in the meeting.
This job is unbelievable.
