First time posting, guess I’m just looking for advice I suppose. I’m pretty sure you can guess the company from the title.
Say a member of management that is supposed to be in charge of a group of people, sexually harassed an employee below their level. I believe in any Employee Handbook, there is a policy that says or resembles “We have zero tolerance for sexual harassment.”
Statements were written, there is photo evidence of countless messages and the nameless man in charge showed up to the employees house on several occasions unannounced.
Said man is also married. He also presumed to tell numerous people that he and this employee had a “thing” going on.
Management was notified. They told me a woman from HR would be coming to speak with me. Management also told one of the other employees that is involved that a man would be coming.
This was reported over a week ago and we’ve heard nothing. However tensions have been high and we know that the Team Lead knows about everything.
Obviously those of us involved know we need to go to HR directly because we have serious doubt they were even contacted.
I guess what I’m asking for advice on is how to hit them where it hurts because I can’t even count how many times sexual harassment has just been looked over in every job I’ve worked or how many countless women and men this has happened to but enough is fucking enough.
