So I am a barista at a small local coffee shop in NY state and the owner wants to make videos of everyone on the team for their social media accounts. I am not comfortable with this and neither are other employees. She was told this and said she's going to do it anyway. I'm not ok with that. I do not want to be in their social media for this brand.
Does the owner need our Consent to do this or a release form or anything ?
Are there protections against being forced to do the videos or having our picture taken for promotional usage?
