I just quit my job and I have been grappling with what I should do next. I ran into a woman on a walk who told me to follow my emotions.

Means of production is bad for my emotional state. It destroys me at my essence. I just want to work on what i want, when i want, with who i want.

And be able to live how I want because of it.

It's that simple. Marx said in the 19th century, capitalism was on the brink of destruction.

If you go on this subreddit or just ask the normal person, you see we aren't in a better state 2 centuries later. The environment is breaking, marriages are obsolete, and the income inequality is at an all time high (in America and Western Europe at least).

What are we left with? Broken infrastructure, abusive police state, out of touch politicians, inflation, and depleted social programs.
