I'd like advice or to be pointed in the right direction.
I work full time for a large US corporation. I am planning on using my FMLA benefits to take a leave for mental health (per doctor's orders) and I want to make sure I avoid any pitfalls or issues if possible. Have you done this before? What do you wish you had known before going out?
For context, I meet the requirements for FMLA and have some PTO along with short/long term disability benefit that kicks in after 7 days (typical 60% pay coverage.)
