I've been trying to think of an occupation that can be done from home that actually contributed to society. I can't think of one. You can't fix a car, or make a widget, or fix a leaking pipe remotely. You can't harvest food or bring people through the internet. If you can work from home, aren't you just a cog in the machine that is fundamentally the problem with the economy? Maybe I'm wrong. School me. Give me an example of an occupation that can be done remotely that benefits me?
