What the fuck??? Who is accepting these jobs? I applied for a job working front desk at a climbing gym, put 18$ an hour as my desired salary in their form expecting they'd pay me like 15 or so. Got the call from them the next day, and they offered me 8 fucking dollars an hour, part time so they don't have to pay healthcare, for a job in a major metropolitan area. 960$ a month in a city where average rent is like 1700$
Who is taking these jobs?????? What the fuck??? Why would anyone do that???
I could tell the manager who called me knew it was a fucked up offer, I imagine the higher-ups just told him that's what he can offer new people.
