I know the title sounds petty but hear me out. I work a hybrid position where I’m in the office three days and at home the other two. This incident happened last Tuesday after the Uvalde shooting in Texas.
Our “uniform” at work is basically wear whatever you want. It’s a catering kitchen so we rarely see customers on a daily basis. Anyways, I show up to work and one of my bosses walks in wearing a black T-Shirt with a white outline of Texas and inside the outline is another outline of an AR-15. When I asked him why in the fuck he would wear it he said, “ eh I just really like guns and thought it was a great shirt. Why shouldn’t I be able to wear it? I wasn’t the shooter?”
I literally didn’t have words at how he could be so senseless and things have seemed to go downhill from there since. I understand there’s nothing I can really do from my end other than look for another job. I’m just so tired of dumb fuck bosses that don’t give a shit about guns/school shootings.
