I’m GenX. I identify with younger generations and have always had a tough time fitting in with 80s-90s era corp mindset. But I’ve had a decent career- with occasional multi-year breaks bc hey it’s my life. Anyway I am in a tough spot financially right now and needed to get back in the game (so to speak the words of the capitalists). I was offered a high paying job but I had concerns about the company and what it was requiring. This sub has empowered me in ways I couldn’t have imagined. I was at the job two weeks until I saw past the curtain. I quit yesterday. I don’t have a new job or any concrete prospects. But we join together in saying NO. You all understand.
EDIT: I’ve been in sales for years. This is not about that. It’s about a problematic company that is living in the 90s.
