FMLA Damned if you, Damned if you don’t

Hi lovely people. I'm having an awful day and I thought I'd have a little vent session on this sub because the topic is relevant. I work for a company and they've been mostly good to me. Pay is 21/hr, I get annual bonuses surpassing $1,000, full benefits, pension, a monthly gas stipend of $200, wellness incentives, and one time payments of $1,000, which last year along amounted to an extra almost $5,000.00. Needless to day despite the streesfulness of my job, my corporation takes care of me.

However, I also live with major depressive disorder, PTSD, panic disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder. Therefore I have FMLA, and it doesn't matter if I only take it because I'm having a major panic attack or so depressed I want to die, because no matter how intense I should just push through. My manager says I'm a good employee but I'm not reliable. So that fucking sucks. I have it so I don't get fired for absenteeism but when I miss I'm still treated as a lazy POS that doesn't want to come to work.

That's it.

Rant over.
