My dad thinks that wages need to decrease or at the very least stagnate in order to bring down inflation. He reasons that with reduced wages businesses can reduce prices to help consumers. He also thinks that people just don’t want to work in general, not that people aren’t working because of low wages. He also thinks the current minimum wage is fine. Can someone link me some graphs and data so I can refute all his positions. Not just personal experience. Preferably something that shows how it is corporations that are causing inflation, not the rise in wages. Thx
