Antiwork

I work in a warehouse with no overtime laws or restrictions.

I work in a warehouse in a state in the US, they have recently sprung on us many 6th day a week schedules. I am absolutely sick of working Saturdays. I am not in a position to quit atm as my recent applications have yielded nothing. They hardly give us a few days notice. I am very tempted to lie about a second job where it prevents me from working weekends at main job. I’m sick of the short 24 hour notice about the weekend shift. I hate it and it isn’t even worth the time and a half because over time hours are taxed heavier than regular hours and I still don’t get paid well enough. I do the amount of work for 3 people. And expected to continue another field. I don’t get paid enough; I can’t afford groceries; my half of the bills, I work 70 hours…

I’m sick of the short 24 hour notice about the weekend shift.
I hate it and it isn’t even worth the time and a half because over time hours are taxed heavier than regular hours and I still don’t get paid well enough. I do the amount of work for 3 people. And expected to continue another field.
I don’t get paid enough; I can’t afford groceries; my half of the bills, I work 70 hours in two weeks and I barely have time. Gas is expensive and I can’t, I can’t anymore. I make less than $20 an hour and I am straight swimming in poverty and student debt I never wanted.(forced to go to college by my insane mother)
I’m in a rut, no one can afford things and 85% of my recent paychecks have been rent and gas and my SO is in college and trying to do something while I have to make ends meet.
I’m tired.
This is long
I’m sorry
But I can’t do it.
Money would solve many issues.
But here I sit; underpaid and over worked.
