Ok to best summarize what happened a few hours ago. A few weeks ago I told my boss I would need tomorrow and the next off to visit family, and they had agreed. But when I got in my boss claimed he had never said that, and he actually said I could have two day off in a future date, non consecutively and I had to state a very good reason for wanting to to have the day off. I told him what bs that was and that he couldn’t just go back on the promise he had made. He then got all smug and cocky and said that he never promised anything, and if he did it didn’t matter because he was the the boss I had to do what the boss says. So I looked him right in the eyes I flat out told him I quit. He was so shocked that his grin left his face so fast you would have thought he saw a ghost. He got up and began telling me how I could not just leave and that they needed me, and to reconsider. I just turned around got my stuff and left. He has even sent me some texts saying that I can have the days off but I blocked his number. Glad I left.
