I need to know what to expect. Ive never been involved in any kind of lawsuit and, let's face it, I'm super poor, and so are all the other workers at my company.
There's no way I can afford a high dollar retainer, I've reached out to a few lawyers in labor law for consultations but I'm still waiting for appointments.
What does it look like to start a class action suit? Are workers protected from retaliation? If I quit my job can I still file a suit? Or do I need to stay an employee while in the process?
Do lawyers always require a retainer to take on a labor law case? I just need some advice and maybe some moral support that this could even be possible on my current salary.
