I got a raise today! And lost my paid lunch break…

I was hired at $21/hr and was offered a raise to $23/hr after 1 month at my job. The raise would have amounted to an extra $16/day, but the paid 1/2 hr lunch break (previously $10.50/day, would go to $11.50/day with the raise) has been eliminated because of the increased cost associated with the hourly pay raise. So, if my math is correct (which is always a question with me), instead of an extra $16/day, my raise is only an extra $4.50/day. That is, if I keep taking a lunch, which I will not be doing in order to maximize my raise. Kind of a bummer. Edit: This is in MT and if my math is correct, makes my raise a mere $0.56/hr.
