At my manufacturing job we make $14.25. For the past year we received an incentive bonus for being on time and working all your hours for the week. The incentive was an extra $1 for each hour worked. The max incentive pay we could receive each week was $56 dollars. Today we were informed we would be receiving a raise and losing our incentive bonus. Well the raise was for 75 cents. So now we make $15 with no incentive, when before we made $14.25 plus an extra $1 “bonus”. Did we actually get a raise? Because besides working overtime with time and a half and double time it really doesn’t feel like we did. How would we go about confronting someone in the office about this?
