I know everyone wants to get at the rich but bottom line is the government can help us out yet they choose not to

If the government can send 40 billion toward Ukraine why can't that money go toward housing? They clearly can print money whenever they want and inflation keeps going up anyway. Why not cut one of the biggest expenses known to man?
