“Dream job”

I live in a city people fantasize about and have what many would consider a dream job but I’m unfulfilled. All I want is to live in the country with a bunch of goats and sheep but the reality of our society has me locked into my current path. I am completely aware of my privilege but I say this because I think it’s important to understand that work is slowly deflating all our spirits. You might think a “better” job will help but it won’t. It didn’t help me. The happiest I’ve ever been while employed as an adult was working at a small family owned hardware store. It may sound ridiculous but cutting people’s keys was genuinely fun.
