I got a call this evening (around 5:00) from one of the members of the hiring team. He casually informed me that his company decided that they were “going in another direction”. I opted not to get into it with him as to why his company didn't select me. I already plead my case and attempted to sell them on the reasons why they should hire me. They made their choice.
I'm batting a thousand right now when it comes to applying, going through screening, interviewing, more interviewing, and getting rejected. I'm feeling dejected at this point and questioning what I do next. I don't want to get up and go to my current job tomorrow, but I have zero prospects at the moment. I sent out another dozen applications since getting home this evening.
