Ever since Covid and contactless payment became a thing, more and more drive thrus in my area will have me insert my card to pay and will also shove a screen in my face begging for a tip. Often times if I don’t tip, their attitude completely changes and they act like I’m the issue.
Your boss is the one who pays you!!!!! Don’t be mad at me that I don’t tip you to hand me my food. Your boss is underpaying you and using the tip screen to subsidize your pay and turning your anger off of him and onto your customers.
