Hi, I left my wallet in the car by accident on Monday and it was broken into that night. I found out Tuesday morning when I was getting in the car to go to work. I told my boss about it and today he called me to ask why I am working from home (90% of my work can be done from home). I explained and he asked me why I didn't just drive to the DMV to get a new one printed out on the spot. I kept telling him I wasn't comfortable driving without a license and that I have already submitted online to get a replacement. He seemed really annoyed and kept telling me to do that. I straight up told him that I am NOT comfortable and he dropped the subject. Should I contact HR?
