People I work with thinks I'm lazy because I'm always refusing to take shit.
I'm, let's say, a state nurse (not the real job but close enough). I switched hospitals recently.
The boss put me in an administrative position. The nurse before me hated it, the one before this one hated it, I hate it, and no other nurses of the hospital ever asked for it. We shouldn't even be appointed in that position, but the hospital's chief wants nurses, so they give him what he wants.
Since day one I told them this was not my job and I was not happy to do it. They labeled me trouble maker for it.
They tried to forces illegal extra hours (making us work on the evenings when our position does not require it). I said no. They said this was not “nurse's behavior”. Well, I don't need to act like a nurse when I don't do a nurse's job.
I asked to WFH a day a week, since I only work on a computer. They said no, I went to my union, they had to back out. They say I'm lazy and not willing to work, and they won't approve my wish to be put in a nurse's position.
They lied on my yearly review. I have proof, I'm challenging it. They were shocked by my “lack of loyalty”.
Recently I injured myself at work. This means I'm on sick paid leave. I've offered to do some WFH so we can return a project in time. They told me if I Can WFH then I'm not injured and I have to come back.
Luckily the doctor vouched for me and I, don't work at all. But my colleague thinks I'm a liar and won't talk to me because I've been seen outside of my house recently.
I'm f*cking tired. They all act like I'm lazy and incompetent and always trying to cheat on them. Just because I don't let them roll all over me. Just because I refuse to play their twisted game.
But, yeah, I must be the problem.
