I applied to my local zoo. It's a bit of a drive but the wage posted on indeed made me apply. Got there and was told that it was ten an hour. Ended the interview. They called later that day to say that the restaurant in the zoo could use help and pays closer to the 16-18 i was expecting. Have an interview with them and get offered the job. We discuss pay that I'm looking for and the manager doesn't bat an eye. She says that they'll put together an offer and get back to me. I wait a few days and finally get the offer for a grand total of twelve dollars an hour. Wtf.
