I realize most people that'll see this aren't experts in the law,but I need some kind of consultation before I potentially get fired.
I work at a gas station that is being renovated by the new owners. Since Monday we haven't had a functioning toilet or running water in the building. So whenever I've been scheduled to close by myself I just closed early and went home. They told me from now on to call him so he or one of his relatives can relieve me to instead of closing. I have been and will continue reading regulations regarding lavatories.
However I need to know if I am in the right at all before I close early again and inevitably am reprimanded or fired.
