They want you enslaved fully occupied and tired. So they can manipulate you to work overtime while making it harder for you to leave the job due to personal connections you might have formed with your fellow abused workers. Most management people have sad lives, their copium is bossing people around and having the delusion of importance and being better than you. Their offices give them the feeling of superiority and looking you in the eyes while commanding you an ego boost. To get to their position they had to accept abuse and lose their dignity which created unsolved mental issues which they try to solve with ego trips. They enjoy the fact you won't be able to spend time with your family but will have to spend a lot of time and energy traveling. In comparison to an average employee, management does close to nothing. For them going back to the office is a way to get satisfaction from seeing your work and deluding themselves that their actions make the whole thing function. People ask: Why do they want us to go back into the office? It makes no sense. The answer is they are stupid and evil.
Many talk about the evil owners that do nothing and just collect the money while giving you survival money, and I understand, but I honestly believe that management is even worse. The reality is, if you give those NPC's promotions and power over others due to their broken nature/abuse during the years etc, they will become a nightmare to deal with.
