I’m a college student working at a pretty successful company. I put in a request 6 weeks in advance to take 3 weeks off because my lease for my dorm is up in late July and I can’t move into my new one until mid August. I was planning on going home (parents house) during this time. Well my time off got denied because my manager said we’re short staffed and the most they could give me is 4 days. The amount of money I would be spending on a hotel to stay at is more than I would be making at work. I’m stressing out because I don’t know where I’ll stay since all of my friends here are also away at home for the summer. Any advice?
Oh also one of my coworkers is currently one a month long vacation that magically got approved
