I got asked, “Why do you want to work here?”, in an interview today.

So I was doing a virtual interview today. Looking for a part-time remote tech support job. And they asked me this question. I said, “Money.” They said, “Anything else?” I said, “well sir, you're looking for someone to do a job, and do it well. Which I can accomplish. You are giving me money in exchange for accomplishing the job to your specifications. If there is some other reason why you employ people or some other way that you compensate them that you have not made me aware of I'm listening.” “Oh…”, He said, and moved on. I have to say it's very nice to not need a job. I know when that question came up there was no way they were going to hire me, so I might as well rub their nose in the foolishness of asking it.
