Ive been working a wfh job that isnt half bad, but not nearly as good as it could be by any means at all. Only pays 14 an hour to deal with medicaid patients all day on the phone scheduling rides. But for no reason at all the supervisors here are as incompetent and unprofessional as it gets. Constant belittling, unhelpful, and very obviously dont care about actually doing more than the absolute bare minimum for clients. We help clients get to medical appointments, and they openly brag and laugh about how they will cancel rides for them just because they hung up 2 seconds early before they 100% submitted their trip info. (regardless if they have all of it and only need to click submit)
Why am I making this post? Because im pretty sure im about to be fired in a few minutes…
So far I've only ever been late by 5 minutes twice, and both of which were due to going to the bathroom. Nothing else thus far of significance has even happened, aside from the occasional late break or lunch clock in by a minute or 2. But nothing at all that I've ever seen be treated with such hostility in any other work environment, for what most would see as a complete non-issue.
I dont have a reason to care about this job to be honest, I go out of my way to make sure mistakes made by other agents gets fixed, and the same supervisor who gets upset at anything and everything still finds a reason to belittle or chastise us. Hell I took an extra 1 minute and 24 seconds last week to make sure a client had a wheelchair vehicle pick them up, but because I did that right as they were hanging up (hence my time out of calls) I got yelled at….
On the upside I get paid this week, saved some money, and already have been looking elsewhere :/
