I appreciate the bosses that ask no questions when you call off

I just had to call in sick because i’ve been puking all night and into this morning. It was my first time calling in sick at this job after 8 months of working here so I was a bit nervous. I told her I don’t think i’ll be able to come in for my shift today because i’ve been vomiting all night and all she replied with was “Oh no! sorry to hear you’re not feeling well. No worries, get some rest and let [other manager] know how you feel tomorrow.” No guilt tripping. No trying to make me come in anyway.. you see how easy it is to be a decent boss? In no way is she perfect but at least she tries to give a shit. Some of the supervisor interactions I see on here are just downright appalling and would make me quit in a heartbeat. We…

We deserve decency as human beings. This is the bare minimum.
