People who believe you have to think positively about everything- this means you have to blind yourself, and not see the craziness of the world or just blind yourself from the reality of the world. This isn't truth, you are lying to yourself. Everyone can see what life is like, what reality is like, and it's not beautiful. I won't pretend that everything is fine, and that I like it. I will protest and voice my opinion no matter what.
It's all fine and good to think about things which are actually good and positive, like a cute puppy, some beautiful nature etc, but to try and put a 'positive spin' on oppressive systems like capitalism is just propaganda designed to make you look the other way and pretend that everything is fine. You have to look at the negative reality and recognize it exists, not kid yourself that everything is 'positive' and fine- that's a delusion.
