My younger brother’s girlfriend applied for a new job and was successful. The new job has asked for a reference from the current employer, however the current employer is saying before they give a reference she will need to hand in her notice. She doesn’t want to do this as she doesn’t know when the new position will be available to start. Im uk based btw
