People asking you what you do in the second or third question are trying to judge you based on your income

I always try to avoid talking about work with new people as I want to get to know them. Living in a big city like London it's always clear what people's agenda is when straight off the bat they're asking you 'what you do' Those types of people I quickly try to avoid.
