I’m the manager for a gym in a large corporate chain and I’m being asked by my head regional manager as to why our sales are bad.
Here’s why; we have a competitor nearby that has a much better, larger, newer facility that offers way cheaper memberships with more benefits.
They don’t agree that this is the issue and choose to ignore this and rather step on me to perform a lot more activities outside my role description, to achieve more referrals and sales. (To which I’m already doing)
