They point to all the job postings as evidence. (“See? ToNs of JoBs!”) A job posting does not mean a company will hire everyone—nor even anyone! I’ve applied to tons of jobs—even with referrals—and gotten nothing. Sometimes they don’t even hire anybody. Other times, they hire one person out of 400 applicants. People need to come down to Earth. They get a job and then think all unemployed people are losers.
